Other side effects from Premarin vaginal cream use include elevated blood pressure, high triglyceride levels, fluid retention and hypothyroidism. Premarin use can increase the risk of cancer, dementia, stroke, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarction in certain women. Premarin and alcohol should not be used together.
